Not sure what to say?

I am an employee at Piper Jaffray in Tacoma WA, so I did not know Joe personally, but having lost my husband unexpectedly two years ago, I can understand the deep pain and loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time.

I was truly heartbroken to hear of Joe's passing. He touched so many people with his kindnesses, his wonderful smile and positive outlook. He left behind a legacy for all of us to emulate. He will be sorely missed, and those of in Portland will always remember him with the deepest fondness. Our deepest condolences go out to our co-workers in Minneapolis, and our prayers and love to his wife, Amy.

I worked with Joe at Piper. He always wore a smile and was easy to talk to. Everyone who knew Joe knew that he was someone special. I will always remember him.

I worked with Joe at Piper and I have never met a nicer man. Always kind and gentle. His "air" golf swing, the trips to Phillips and the Walkin' Dog for lunch, and the box of rubber-bands he hid in his desk will ring through the minds of his co-workers. His bright smile will forever be in my memories. This is a great loss for all that knew Joe. I will miss you.

My Friend Joe
The news I heard that fateful night,
had crushed me with its' terrible might;
A friend has fallen, one good and true,
Perhaps the best we ever knew;
Our friend is gone, he left too soon,
He should have lived for many moon;
His heart was pure, a noble man,
his love a beacon that shown the land;
I remember times we talked, we played,
times now gone, memories will not fade;
Laughter from the jokes we told,
the loss of...

Thinking of Joe always makes me smile.. I can't recall a time when he wasn't smiling and boy was it infectious to everyone around him! I regret not getting to know him better and agree with Mark Irish that I should appreciate those I still have around me, and I intend to. My deepest sympathies go out to the family and close friends of Joe. I'm thankful that I had the pleasure of knowing him even as fleeting a time as it was.

I worked with Joe at Piper Jaffray, there wasn't a day that went by that he couldn't brighten your day with his smile. I am sorry for your loss, he will be greatly missed.

I am an ex-coworker, but a friend of Joe's. Just last Thursday our paths crossed and I playfully remarked "I give you 2 weeks to be "head honcho" over at Piper. His reply was that All American, Winning, Charismatic, smile. I have never known such an easy going, knowlegeable, kind, friendly, fun loving, impartial person, as which was Joseph Seifret. The entire world should mourn his departure from this world. The likes of Joseph Seifret is truly rare. You are and will be missed. Surely...

Amy, I am so sorry to hear about your husband! My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family!
