Joseph Seiger

Joe was my freshman roommate at the university of Pittsburgh. He was instrumental in getting me elected president of the freshman class of 1300 students in a very clever and intelligent way! My first trip to New York City was as a guest at his home. We sang together in the Pitt Mens Glee club. Joe was a kind and thoughtful person and full of fun. Joe was my beloved mentor as I moved from working in a corporate real estate environment to co-founding my own real estate investment company. Always supportive, but with practical advice, he encouraged me to follow my dreams. He was such a gentle, but forceful presence, and I will miss him very much. Every conversation began and ended about family, and his love for his wife and kids clearly served as his utmost priority.

Joe was a wonderful business associate, very intelligent and likable. I did not know of his illness until it was too late to see him, something I regret. I will miss him.
