Not sure what to say?

Dear Ruth and family,
Please accept our deepest sympathy as you experience this great loss in your family. Having to say good-bye to husband, dad, grandpa is not easy. I wish we could have been with your family for the prayers/funeral. We were with you in spirit as we were witnessing God's grandeur in Utah. We continue to hold you in our thoughts and prayers.
Vicki and Steve O'Toole (Nancy's sister)

Dear Ruth;
No words can make losing your Joe easier. I share your sorrow, and will remember you both in my prayers. I remember fondly the Saturday nights you all went to the American Legion with my Mom and Dad. They always had such a good time, and came home in good spirits (in more ways then one). And the poker games you all took turns hosting. I loved it when you were at our home, as Joe was always so good to be around. Even as a kid I loved his bigness and his booming voice and laugh....

Dear Shade Family:
Joe and Ruth's visits to Iowa to see Bernie, Nancy and the girls are fond memories. Joe's humor and wealth of knowledge were a joy to share. You could meet Joe once and feel like you had known him for years; he had that way about him. Gary, Claire, Sam and Henry offer their deepest sympathies and prayers to the family, especially their nieces/cousins (Megan, Hannah and Sarah).

Joan,

You know that you and your family are in my prayers. May God Bless you all and give you the strength that only He can give at this time.

Joyce, Mrs. Shade, and family:
My sincerest sympathy goes out to you. May God bless and keep you. And may your memories and love you shared be forever in your hearts.

Norma, all of us affiliated with IBEW Local 212 extend our sympathy for your loss. Our throughts and prayers are for you and your family.

Dear Ruth,
Wishing we were in Kentucky, and not Iowa, to share with you the love that Bernie was able to share with our Dad in Feb. So sorry Nanc lost her father-in-law, and the girls both their Grandpas in the same year. Hoping your 58 yrs are only the best of memories.
My sympathy and love, Jean

Bernie,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you, your mother and rest of your family. Wish we could be there with you and the girls.

Aunt Ruth and Family,
Our hearts go out to each of you during this difficult time. We have such happy memories of you and Uncle Joe. We will always cherish the times we were together.
Our Love and Prayers are with each of you,
