My Uncle Ray Payne age 87 also a World War II vet remembers the Tuskegee Airmen...they were quite a group of men he says...Ray said,"they shot down more enemy aircraft than any other group of fliers during World War II...escorting the American bombers to and from Berlin and they never lost a plane" according to him...our condolences...we smiled and said Hello to them having dinner in Port Angeles Washington a few years back...While they were there for a Tuskegee Reunion...God Bless and thank...
