Uncle , you were more than an uncle to me and my brothers. Throughout our lives, we could always count on you and Aunt Donna. Whenever anyone needed help, you were the first to offer and the last to leave. There are certain people in everyone's life that you quietly respect and admire. That is what you are to me! I will miss you very much.

My deepest sympathy to the Shattuck family. Joe was a very nice man.

To my Godmother Donna, and family, So sorry for the lost of such a great man. Uncle Joe was a loving and caring man who will be sadly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. I remember all the warm and caring memories as a child. Sleep overs, and feeling like a part of the family. Uncle Joe all ways had a bright smile on his face, and had a heart of gold. May he rest in Peace! Love, Susan
