Not sure what to say?

Lee and Karen,

marvin and I are very sorry for your loss. marvin remembers meeting your father and he remembers that wonderful smile. What a great man. Our prayers are with you.

I remember your dad when he worked for my father, Murphy Rosenzweig. He and your mother came to my wedding. He always had a smile on his face, and he always remembered me whenever I saw him. I was "Murphy's daughter". My father thought the world of him. They had a common background as my father also came from Poland. They would sometimes speak Yiddish to each other. I used to see him in my father's shop, Murphy's Wholesale Tailors. He will be greatly missed. He was truly a mensch.

Your Dad's smile brings back many sweet memories of him and your Mother. Our Parents shared a horrid past in the concentration camps. They survived and were great role models for us. I am saddened for your loss and grateful for the years he had telling his story of survival. My favorite picture is in front of the JCC titled The New Americans in 1952. Your brother, Martin, standing next to me along with many other family members enjoying freedom in N.O. May your Dad's memory be for a blessing...

Lee: My sincere condolences. Though I never met Mr. Sher, I felt like I knew him from some of the stories I heard about his life. Peace be with him.

Such a Mensch! Many shared memories of your father and family. Our prayers to the Sher Family. The LASOSKI family
