As kids, my brothers and I grew up just down the street from the Simmons' house on Lorain Rd, in North Olmsted. There were many times when we went to their house, even with girls present, and were always welcomed by them. Even more often,Frank came to our house to play ball in the back yard. My deepest sympathy to the Simmons Family. Your Dad was one to be very proud of. Our family lived next door to the Simmons Family on West 127th Street. Joe amd my Dad fished and hunted together and were close friends for many years. Joe had a locker close to mine at John Marshall High School when he returned from the Army. Our family sent him many letters and packages while he was in the Army. A special person, Joe Simmons, he will be greatly missed by many.
