Not sure what to say?

Carol Polacky was my cousin. She & her husband lived next to us on Huntsville Rd. in Dallas PA. I moved to Lewisburg in the1960's. I was the General Book Buyer at Bucknell University in Lewisburg PA. for I0 years. I babysat my cousin Joe & Carol's children. She gave me a beautuful leaded glass hexagonal mirror. We had leaded glass windows in our home next door. I cherish this piece today. It proudly sits on my breakfast table today. I hope you are all doing well. Rita K.Chisko 9 Beech...

Joe was my first cousin (fathers brothers son) and have fond memories when we would visit - after @ 14/15 years of age we stopped going to PA as often so we lost track except for occasional meetings - years later we got together again and stayed in touch by phone - so today I learned of his passing. He is missed, a good human being

I knew Joe from his days at Commonwealth Telephone. During a summer thunderstorm, lightning struck an air conditioning pipe on the roof of a Lake Street building. Due to the bright flash and horrendous clap of thunder, most of the folks dove under their desks and everything grew quiet. Suddenly, a door swings open and there was Joe towering over everybody. He called out, "It's okay. It just grounded out. Everything is fine." He was applauded. Rest in peace, Joe. Thanks for the memories.

Carol and family, we are so sorry to hear about Joe. Please know you are all in our thoughts and prayers. Kevin, Joan, Kevin and Maggie Gilbertson

What a great guy. He told wonderful stories along with Ted King at Commonwealth Telephone Company. Many a laughs were had. Rest in Peace Joe.

So very sorry for your loss. Joe was a gem and imparted some sage advice during my years at Commonwealth Telephone. May your strength see you through this difficult time.

Carol, My sincere sympathy at this time of loss. I have great memories of time spent with you and your family at WSCC/Bishop O'Reilly HS... alumni and student activities. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. May God grant Joe eternal rest. Anita (Mrs. Sirak)

To the Sitar family: Heartfelt condolences for the loss of Joe. He was the ultimate family man and will be greatly missed. I had the enormous pleasure of serving as the family dentist over many years and consider you all friends. RIP Joe. Dr M from Florida

Carol, Joe was a neighbor and a good friend. We had many good times together. John Hudick, Grants Pass, Oregon
