Joseph Slenzak

Joseph was born on July 31, 1922 and passed away in November 2017. Joseph was a resident of Michigan at the time of passing. He graduated from high school in 1941 and joined the Conservation Corp of Engineers. Joe then joined the Army in November 1942 and served as a medical technician in World War II - stationed overseas working on the China-India tele-communication project and was honorably discharged following his tour of duty and awarded a good conduct and 2 bronze star victory medal. The family will receive friends Friday 4-8 p.m. with Rosary at 7 p.m. at A.J. Desmond & Sons Funeral Home, 2600 Crooks Rd. (between Maple and Big Beaver), 248-362-2500. The Funeral Service will be on Saturday at 10 a.m. Visitation Saturday begins at 9a.m. Burial at Resurrection Cemetery. A. J.
