Grandpa Joe,
I REMEMBER:the smiles,the kisses,the hugs,the pinches,the hot ham & cheese sandwiches,the Pepsi's,the candy store,the dirty jokes,the times you let me sit in your favorite chair,the waves from your front door,the tears each time I left. If you only knew the tears when you left. I will always remember the love that we have for each other.

Having been friends with Michael since 9th grade, I've known his Dad Joe for our entire friendship. Joe always knew how to bring a smile to our faces and a laugh to our hearts (even though it was mostly at our own expense!). God Bless and lift up the Sly family during this difficult time. Peace.
