This evening I discovered the obituary of Dr, Joseph Sokolowsi by accident! I knew Joe when he was a medical student at Jefferson. I was always impressed with his Catholic faith and his devotion to practicing medicine as a Catholic. We shared many things in common but I was totally unprepared to accept his proposal. It's sad to learn of Joe's death. I knew him when he was a student at Jefferson Medical University. I had the honor of meeting his father when he became a patient at Jefferson. He was a caring doctor and a wonderful Catholic man.
