Not sure what to say?

We met "Grandpa Joe" in the last year on his many visits to his daughter Christine and her family. I remember a recent trip to the Maritime Aquarium where "Grandpa Joe" played with grandkids Avery, Evan and my son Andrew. He tickled the kids, laughed, and smiled like he was a young kid himself. I can see how he touched so many kids with his love and enthusiam. Our sympathies to all his family and friends.

Christine, I am so sorry to hear about your dad, he was a great guy, who made a lasting impression on me years ago. My thoughts are with you and you family. He will be missed by all

To Gary, Ronnie and Christine - I'm so very sorry for the loss of your father. He was truly an amazing person and was always full of life, love and laughter. He was a great friend to my father as he was to many, many others. You all are in my thoughts and prayers during this sad time. God Bless.

Joe, I had a great time when we went to the Daytona 500 with Kenny B, Kent & Brett, I had only met you at that time, but the fun we had wil always be remembered. God Bless you.

My deepest sympathy to Gary, Ronnie, Chris and family. Joe was a life long friend to my entire family, among so many others, as well. I can think of countless Saturday mornings, seeing that little red truck pull up to the house, and there was Joe with that big smile, ready to "shoot the breeze" for a while! How about the times, as kids walking around downtown, Joe would stop, while on duty, just to say hello and make sure we were staying out of trouble! Joe, you will always be thought of in...

A wonderful man I would fondly call "Uncle Joe". I was at a loss for words when I heard of your passing. You will be missed. My thoughts & prayers to the family. God bless.
Love, Jill (McCauley) Gregory

The shock of Joe being gone so abruptly is not going to go away any time soon. He ment so much to so many of us and to say that he will be missed is an under statement. A couple hours after Joe died, I and others that were furtunate enough to be a part of his life opened up an e-mail he sent that morning. It was a joke similiar to so many others he had sent or told and although my imediate thought was great sadness that this would be his last contact with me, I couldn't help but think that as...

Joe, Mr. Wonderful, will surely be missed. He gave me a chance in baseball I'll never forget. We kept in touch all thses years. He is with Linda now. My thoughts and prayers ae with you Gary, Ronnie, and Christine.

Joe-one of our all time favorite people-we are shocked and so saddened by the news. His great smile, wonderful sense of humor, his love of family. He was taken too soon.
