The past 2 summers there has been a great void at Scarborough beach in the early morning and this will continue as Joe will not be there. He was an inspiration to all to get up and greet the morning, no matter what the weather. The walks on the beach were sometimes quiet, sometimes filled with conversation but always enjoyable. He is remembered each morning as we walk and appreciate the sand dollars, the white stones,the beach goers forgotten items and the sounds of the ocean. We miss him...
