Not sure what to say?

Ann, so good to hear from you but I'm sorry that it's under this circumstance. If you have an e-mail address and/or Facebook page please send to me and I will answer all of your questions. Yes, I do love Colorado and I have lived here 15 years. Woody and his family live here and I work for him. I'll tell all when I get your addresses. My love to everyone.

Nell, Ann and Jan:
My deepest sympathy to you and the rest of the family in Joe's passing. I just learned about this today when I went to the funeral of Gilbert Williams who was a retired switchman from BSRR and attends the same church as I do in Plst. Grove, Bethel Bapt. Joe was a good, kind and most understanding boss that I ever worked for - the 6-8 years as his secretary was like working for home folks - a big family at BSRR, the most enjoyable years of my 40+ years...

Nell--
Michael and I have enjoyed working with you at the Alys for many years - it was always good to be around Joe because his happy face was contagious.
May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.

My deepest sympathy to the family and friends during this time of sadness.
May GOD bless you all...much love and prayers...Diane Landgraf Ashville Alabama, friend of Algalene & Norman...

To Joe's family,

Joe and I were friends and I miss him even though it's been a few years since our paths crossed. My condolences Nell, and to your family.

God bless you all,

Bill Love

Algalene and Norman: So sorry to read of your brother's death. My condolences.

I can't remember a time when I didn't know Joe (Mr. Staab). He was funny, kind, and with a smile that made everyone feel special. The nights he and Daddy played pool were filled with the sound of clacking pool balls and the warm laughter of good friends.
Although he never knew it, he was an inspiration to me as an adult student at Birmingham-Southern. Thank you all for the wonderful times and special memories.

Joe was a wonderful person to work with at the Stephens Center. I will miss him.

I remember when my family and I moved to 21st Street. Nell and Joe were the first neighbors that we met and they brought a pitcher of ice water and glasses to our house on moving day. We were so appeciative of their very welcomed gift. A great friendship developed over the years that we were neighbors and I will forever love that sweet family. I am so sorry for your loss and a big loss it is. Joe was a very kind, sweet and gentle spirit and he will be greatly missed. My love and...
