Not sure what to say?

Deacon Stanley was a truly wonderful man. His love for his family and his Church was inspiring. Our children are all blessed to have been baptised into the church by such a loving man. Our thoughts are with you.

A special memory is a recent one... while Joe was undergoing Chemo.I was sitting next to Ed Tynan @ Mass one Sunday morning. Joe came out of the Sacristy and walked down the side aisle right by us.....he had lost all his hair. He was greeting folks and smiling @ everyone. Ed turned to me and said,"there goes a Profile in Courage". I saw Joe as larger than life and will miss his presence @ OLV

DEACON STANLEY WAS COMFORTING AT MY AUNT'S WAKE. IT WAS PLAIN TO SEE WHAT A GOOD MAN HE WAS. MY PRAYERS ARE WITH HIS FAMILY.

Deacon Stanley presided over our wedding ceremony with Fr. Jim Tobin in 1995. It was such a joy to have him on the alter with us with his great smile! Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and his brother Phil and his family, an old neighbor of ours.

We will all miss Deacon Joe. He was an incredible and special man who provided inspiration to many and the memories of him that we will carry will last forever. I will never forget the wonderful memory of him performing the many christenings of our children as he is surrounded with scores of young children at the altar.
Thank you Joe, we love you.

It was always a privilege to be with Joe as we led the community of OLV/OLH in prayer. His pastoral concern for his family and all of the people was inspirational. Deacon Joe, a holy servant of God, now resting in the house of the God whom he served so well. Peace and comfort to Estelle and family.

I was very sorry to hear of the loss of such a special man. My thoughts and prayers are with the Stanley family during this time of sadness.

Joe was an easy-to-see Christ in our lives and we will miss him greatly. We loved hearing him sing the Easter Hymm at the vigil Mass.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.
