Joseph Robert "Joe" Stanton

My condolences to thr Stanton family. Those that share the last name and to those that don't. Many years ago I lived with the Stanton's for quite some time Joe was my father's best man and vice versa. One lesson I learned from Joe was you had to work for what you want. I just heard of the passing of Joe and was instantly saddened. My heart goes out to each and every one of you. I always loved when I randomly came across Joe, (any Stanton for that fact). I would usually see Joe at a sporting event or the casino. I loved the hugs and kisses I would receive. My thought are with you during this difficult time

A rock was Joe. Strong person, meant the world to me. Even more than my father. Known him for 58 years of my life (my whole life). His words had depth. He committed his life to his family. I first met Joe when I was 11. Joe was 12 - the star of the Moscow Little League Baseball team. I played for Jonesville. After being terrified by his fastball I was so pleased to know that he would be coming to school in Jonesville in the 7th grade. I was his catcher for 3 years in high school. He was the best. We developed a bond that pitchers and catchers form. We stayed friends all these years. I will miss seeing him at the Jonesville Alumni Banquets where everyone wanted to talk to...

God rest his dear soul, and God bless the incredible wife and family he enjoyed so much. I always liked seeing Joe when he'd stop by the music room at Green Meadow at Open House or conference times. Dear Kay and Family,
I was so sorry to hear about your loss. Joe was such a nice guy and a talented athlete. He was the star
player at many of the games he played for the mighty "Comets" at Jonesville High School and I was so
proud to be able to brag to my friends that we were from the same little town of Mosherville. And now, he
has left this earthly life like a "comet" and we will miss him.

So very sorry for your loss. Joe loved all of "his Credit Union Girls" & we sure loved him. There was always lots of laughs when he was around. RIP Joe

To the Stanton Family, I have such pleasant memories of Joe. He was always there to support each of the kids and I can only imagine his love of the grandchildren. His love of horses was also impressive - being a harness racer in an era where that was declining was remarkable. The things he accomplished on his own were impressive. May you find peace in happy memories and comfort in each other. Barb
