Joseph Alan Staples Sr.

My thoughts go back to a sunny day at the old house -Mr. Staples working in his yard and the Mrs. with her pretty flowers. What a special couple and close family. I will keep the family in my prayers.

I was sorry to hear of the death of Mr. Staples. He and Mrs. Staples would always wave at me when I would ride my horse by the house from Mrs. Bicus's house. I would admire their beautiful flowers that were always growing in the front yard. Those were the good old days! My prayers are with the family.

Only a few days ago I had asked my brother Gerald how Alan was doing. He was among my earliest of friends, going back to the mid-1920's. My condolences to his family.
