JOSEPH G. STASKO, SR. age 91. Beloved husband of the late Genevieve (nee Durkovsky); loving father of Joe Jr. (Lynette); stepfather of Barbara Salitra; cherished grandfather of Michele Barry (Matt), Isaac, Rebecca, Elijah, Ruthy, Levi and Aaron; son of the late Maria (nee Onufer) and Michael Stasko; dearest brother of Mary and the late John and Anna; uncle and great uncle of many. He proudly served in WWII with the Navy Seabees in Weymouth, England and Guam. Lifelong member of C.W.V. Post 579 in Lakewood and served as Treasurer of the Memorial Day Assn. Passed away peacefully Dec. 29, 2016. Funeral Mass Tuesday, Jan. 3, Our Lady of Angels Church (3644 Rocky River Dr.) at 11:30 A.M. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
