Joe was so upbeat and always looked at the positive side of life. I always laughed when he was around. I'm sorry I did not know about his death until I just thought about him now while in Oregon. I thought of him often after moving here and wondered how his cycling was going. I hope he did not suffer. Ann, I send my thoughts and sympathy to you. He will be missed. Eileen Holzman

Joey as I knew him was my neighbor when I was a child. I remember my parents droping him off when he enlisted. Driving in a '59 Buick electra Just like his Dad had in black. I remember he swapped a pair of skis with me ( I had the Head pair) he waited. He would drive me around in the dune buggy he used and sometimes we would go to one of his construction jobs. He would eventually buy our house(34 cross ave, mp) when my parents moved to NH. That's how I prefer to remember him, young, strong,...
