Not sure what to say?

Joe Steele, a better man I can not think of. Fearless with a love and passion for life. A passion usually verging on the obsurd but one which we respected and envied. I look up to Joe Steele for his views on life and himself. He was true to himself and to those around him. If I were to sum Joe up in one word, it would be "Genuine". He is genuine and is loved genuinely by all those who had the opportunity to be a part of his life. He's an absolute credit to the human spirit and to what it...

Joe and I met almost 20 years ago. He drove a big, noisy truck and you always knew when he pulled into the neighborhood blasting his Billy Idol and Charlie Sexton music. We became close friends and he eventually captured my heart with his warm smile, his unending guitar playing, and his dirt bike skills. We "grew up" together and learned a lot from one another. I had the pleasure of meeting Joe at Enron a few years back. He was an exceptional person who genuinely cared about everyone he met. He had his own way of making you feel special. I've never met someone so dedicated to his work, but more than that, family was always first in his life. Bye Joe, you will truly be missed!

Those who worked at EI knew Joe during the best of times. A negative word could not be spoken about someone so wonderful. Joe made me and all that knew him want to be better people. He led by example, and will be greatly missed.

I also worked with Joe at Enron. Joe will be missed by so many people here at work. He was the sweetest person, so kind and genuine. I will miss his smile. God bless Joe & his family.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the Joe's family and friends. It was an honor working and knowing Joe. Ann, he always speaks highly of you. And he takes pride in knowing how to cook (and eat) "Batchoy". He was an outstanding support person with an impeccable and enviable personality.

Knew Joe as a teenager, he always had a smile on his face and put one on others. He was fun, loving, caring and he will be greatly missed. His wife, sons and family our in my prayers. Will miss you!!!

I admire and look up to Joe I always will he was a free spirited person that touched my life in a special way. I will miss you. I said a prayer for you and your family Joe...

Dear Ann, Matthew, Nicholas, Angie, Clay, Chris and Lee:
Although it's been years since my sister Mary and I were officially a part of the Steele family, Angie, Chuck and the boys always treated us as though we never left. We love you guys and when I think of Joe, I still see that smiling sweet, sweet face of a child who touched my heart so deeply. Within each of you is a piece of Joe's heart you will carry forever. I believe from reading the memorials of his friends and family, Joe...
