Not sure what to say?

I did not know your son, brother, etc. Joe. He is now beyond all the frustrations of not being in control of any part of his body.

I write because my brother Jim is 71 . I am his sister and overseer. I have been searching for a source to help me help him thru all this stuff. He has Fredericks Attaxia also a MD related disease. When you can, if you can, I would so appreciate you mentoring me thru these tough changes. Jim has basically no use of his hands and trouble speaking...

I went to school with the Stupfel kids. Joe Stupfel - What a long, brave life. I remember his family bringing him to Cummings every morning because there were steps to battle at Keizer School and there weren't at Cummings. They'd get Joe set up and then all the Stupfel kids would cry out with love,"Bye Joe! Have a good day!" At graduation at McNary he was given a standing ovation. Brave, kind, funny. Loving family. May his soul rest gently and his spirit fly and walk freely. My condolences to...

My deepest sympathy to Joe's family. I worked with his Dad for many years and was impressed with his family devotion when he accepted a job in Portland when Joe moved to the Mt. Tabor facility so he could spend his lunch hours visiting with Joe until his retirement. I was saddened to read that Bill had also passed. I am sure they are having a great reunion in Heaven. My thoughts and prayers are with the family at this difficult time.

Oh my, I went to school with Joe. So sad to hear of his passing. However, sounds like he lived a full and much loved filled wonderful life. My son also has DMD so I understand Joe's life well. May he be rejoicing now in full freedom!

A good long life, my old friend!

To the family during this time of loss may you find solace in the promise made at Ezekiel 35 verses 4-6 and verse 10

My Sincerest condolences for your loss. May precious memories of your dear loved one, along with encouraging words such as those found at John 11: 25 & 26 be of comfort to your family as it has me.
