To the Sullivan Family, I want to extend my sincere and hearfelt sympathy to you all. Joe was not only a fine Instructor but also a great Foreman. I had Joe in class and also worked for him in the field. He was one of not only the greatest generation who fought in WWII, but also one of the greatest generation of Local 537.

I'll always remember the arguments (discussions) I had with Joe in the heating classes on Enterprise St, and the drinks after at the Firemen's Post. Joe introduced me to VO Manhattans. Condolences to the family in their time of loss. Joe was a great guy.
