Not sure what to say?

We continue to miss a good friend and his wonderful sense of humor.

Dear Millie and Family,

We were saddened to hear about Joe's passing and sincerely want to extend our deepest condolences to all of you. We know how much he will be missed as he definitely thought the world of his family.

Joe attended a number of our workshops and was also instrumental in organizing our Middle Bass Watercolor Workshops, Jackson Mills Workshops, and the West Virginia Watercolor Society Workshop. He always said he didn't want to be the train's engineer but just...

So very sorry for the loss. Joe and Millie were always both so kind when they came into the YMCA. They definitely both brightened the place up. Prayers for family and friends. Jackie Kozdron

My condolences to Millie and the family. Joe was a good friend to my late husband, Dr Newt Kellackey.

I will miss Uncle Joe. He was interesting, friendly & kind. I’ll never forget how dashing he looked in his white suit at my wedding as he spun me on the dance floor. He would stop to visit us while we worked on a home in Rocky River years ago, those were wonderful conversations.
My condolences & love to Aunt Millie, Lisa, Sean, Suzan, Stephen & Mary. You will be in my prayers.

I am greatly saddened by Joe's passing. He was a great friend, a creative and generous man. My husband and I enjoyed his visits with us when Joe and I attended West Virginia Watercolor Society meetings and painting workshops. He enlightened us with history and humor. He will be sorely missed.
Our sincere condolences to Millie and family. Linda and Joseph Turner

I am so sorry to hear of Joe's passing. I will always remember visiting with you both in your lovely garden and of his pride in the natural beauty of it all. Your faith in God will help you in this sorrowful time.

Joe Sweeney and his wife Millie have been our dear and close friends for the 65 years that they were together. I lost my own husband in August of 2018 and I know what Millie is feeling now, an emptiness but also a hope that as Christians the good bye is only temporary. So many beautiful, happy memories come to mind in the times that we shared with Joe...the holidays...the beginnings and the ends of the passing years. Treasured memories of happy times...seeing their children born..sharing so...

My sincere condolences to Millie, Steve and the entire Sweeney clan. Joe and Millie were always lovely to my me and my family. Sending prayers your way for comfort and peace.
