Dear Millie and Family,
We were saddened to hear about Joe's passing and sincerely want to extend our deepest condolences to all of you. We know how much he will be missed as he definitely thought the world of his family.

I will miss Uncle Joe. He was interesting, friendly & kind. I’ll never forget how dashing he looked in his white suit at my wedding as he spun me on the dance floor. He would stop to visit us while we worked on a home in Rocky River years ago, those were wonderful conversations.
My condolences & love to Aunt Millie, Lisa, Sean, Suzan, Stephen & Mary. You will be in my prayers.

I am greatly saddened by Joe's passing. He was a great friend, a creative and generous man. My husband and I enjoyed his visits with us when Joe and I attended West Virginia Watercolor Society meetings and painting workshops. He enlightened us with history and humor. He will be sorely missed.
Our sincere condolences to Millie and family. Linda and Joseph Turner

Joe Sweeney and his wife Millie have been our dear and close friends for the 65 years that they were together. I lost my own husband in August of 2018 and I know what Millie is feeling now, an emptiness but also a hope that as Christians the good bye is only temporary. So many beautiful, happy memories come to mind in the times that we shared with Joe...the holidays...the beginnings and the ends of the passing years. Treasured memories of happy times...seeing their children born..sharing so...
