Not sure what to say?

Mr. Sylvester was the most amazing Principal ever during my Jr High Years at Mills Jr High. I will never forget the support he gave me my Freshman year. So many great reasons to honor a Great Man. My condolences to his family and friends.

I remember Mr Sylvester from Mills Jr High. I remember him walking the hallways keeping track of kids & telling them not to run...lol. He was a kind man. My heart & prayers go out to his family. I'm sure he will be greatly missed.

I didn't even go to Mills. I went to the rival school Mitchell. But I was at Mills for Zero Period Orchestra and summer school and I always remember Mr. Sylvester. He had a distinct voice on the intercom and always positive. Interesting to hear he was born the same year as my dad who also just passed and was at Travis AFB too. I wonder now if they actually knew each other and I never knew it when I was a kid. Wish they could have connected 35 yrs ago. I hope they are reconnecting now in...

He was our Principal at Mills Middle School and such a kind man! By far my favorite Principal! He was loved and respected by all. About 10+ years ago I ran into him at a grocery store. He called me by my maiden name and it blew my mind! We had a quick conversation but I will always remember it. I don´t even know how he recognized me after all those years! He was sharp as a tack!! May he rest in peace.

My favorite Principle ever! He was like the Mills Junior High school dad for everyone! He will be greatly missed From your loving student Angel Coleman Wormley - Rancho Cordova, CA. 1983-1985

This is the gentleman who hired me for my position at Mills. He was a great boss and kind and level headed. He was also noted for running races backwards against someone who was running forward and he won!!! Remembering him fondly.

My condolences to Mr Sylvester's wife, children, family and friends. I have not seen Mr Sylvester in many years, having graduated from Mills Junior High in 1979 but have many fond memories of him during the school years I spent at Mills. RIP Mr Sylvester.
