My sympathy and best wishes to Joseph Tache's family.
I must have been one of the first applicants Mr. Tache interviewed in the Admissions Office at Boston College in 1966. He was kind and considerate. When I would cross paths with him on campus, many months after meeting him, he would remember me by name and ask how I was doing.
At BC, and I'm sure at Salem State, he helped many young people to get started in their lives. Quite a legacy.
