Dear Tarrant Family,
I am sorry to hear about the passing of Mr. Tarrant. He was a mentor to me while I was at Bethel High School. While, I was stationed in Viet Nam, he was in contact with me and I rec'd many letters of support from Mr. Tarrant. He was a officer and a gentleman, a good teacher, coach and person. I will miss him and think of him often.

Dear Joan & family -
Guy and I shared alot of happy memories in the American Legion & Aux. with Joe and you. Joe will certainly leave a void that cannot be filled. Joe's teachings to everyone is his legacy that no one can take from us. May GOD Bless you all.

Dear Joan,
Joe and I were classmates at Bethel High School...The class of 1946. We were a small group, but we were bound together during the WW II years. When the war ended in '45, we reinstituted a Junior Minstrel in which Joe was and "end man", and we became the first senior class to publich a Bethel High School year book. I beleive that Joe and I were class officiers together. His cousin, Jimmmy, was my best friend. I appreciate Joe being a motivating force for our 50th class...

Joan and Family,
Having served in the military with Joe for more than 30 years, I hold BG Joe Tarrant in the highest esteem, as possibly the finest SOLDIER with whom I ever had the honor of serving!!
While we grieve his loss, we must be very proud of Joe !!!
