Read MoreWe were saddened to hear of Fr. Tate's passing. He was truly a faithful servant. We always enjoyed his company and our children looked forward to him visiting. He was full of so many wonderful stories, I never tired of hearing of his days as a young man and how he came to serve God. He will be missed.

Fr,Tate was my guidance counselor at Vincentian in 1959 and made an indelible impression on me. His advice was important but his warmth and friendship helped me most. I will remember him in my prayers
