Fr. Joe's service to the world is indicative of the dedication that the men of Cathedral Latin were taught, and valued as we went out into the world.
I too, remember Fr. Joe very well, and have fond memories of chatting with him at a class reunion that was held at Nito Italia.
Thank you Fr. Joe for all that you provided to so many people.

Working with Fr. Ted (Teddy) at VASJ was a unique experience. You could always count on his humor to help quell a tense situation. He was a very learned man and shared his knowledge without seeming to make a person feel inadequate. I was a classmate of Father Joe's at Cathedral Latin class of 70' and remember him well.
He was always a quiet, compassionate, person and it did not surprise me that he joined the Marianist's community and became a priest.
Years later I had moved to the Villa Angela St. Joseph neighborhood and discovered a story about him in the Sun newspaper and knew he was teaching at VASJ.
