A great person & co-workers

I can't believe that, I hadn't heard from Joe for a long time and never thought I would find out he had died so young. He was my first American penpal, we were almost the same age, and I visited him for a weekend during my first trip to the United States in 1984, he and his parents Joe sr. and Betty were very nice to me, I am sorry they are all gone now, I will never forget them.

My sincere sympathy to the Joe's family and friends. He was a great guy and I was so grateful when he reached out to me when my passed away. We kept in touch and I just recently found out that he had passed. Rest in peace Friend.

My wife and I only knew Joe for a few years. We often stopped and chatted with him when walking past his place. His passing has left a hole in the universe me thinks. A truly kind man and gentleman.

Mr. Thoma's dogs are/were clients at the Veterinary Practice where I work. He was one of my favourite clients. ALWAYS incredibly kind, the BEST dog parent to Flynn and Olivia. For a while he would bring Flynn every single day to visit us and that was always a highlight of my day. I was very saddened to hear of his passing. My deepest condolences to family and friends. He will be missed over in our little veterinary corner too!

My sincerest condolences to Joe's family and friends. Joe was a true gentleman to work with and always had time just to talk about outside interest. We had recently reconnected and it was a joy to hear what he was doing and see pictures of his dogs. Joe will be missed and thought of often.

To the family my prayers are with you. Joe always had a smile on his face. RIP

I had countless interactions with Joe when I worked at HQ. Rest in peace, Joe, you deserve it.

Joe, you were my best friend. So sad you were taken so soon. I miss our conversations. You were a great guy.
