Dear Tkac Family,
I am one of the members of Peace Corps Costa Rica group IX who trained and served as volunteers with Joe almost half a century ago. My condolences to you all. We were assigned to different parts of the country and didn't have much contact after our training together. Our sincere sympathy & condolences to our Cousin's family & friends. When Joseph was a little boy, his father (Uncle JR) would bring him over to our house to visit and learn things from his 3 older cousins. Joe has certainly been a fine teacher and Peace Corp worker, in sharing his God given talents with others. May Our Lord grant him everlasting peace & happiness.

I am so sorry for the loss of Joseph. I only knew him for a short period of time but each time I saw him I laughed at a joke or cringed at the political talks:)
He fought a hard battle and the last time I saw him he looked at peace with what the future held for him. He was a strong individual who I could tell loved his family and his pets and decided when he was done with the battle. I wish you all peace at this most difficult time.
