Steve, Leslie, and family,
So sorry to hear about your Dad. His obituary/picture was so telling of what a wonderful Dad you had. No doubt you will miss him. My prayers and thoughts are with you during this sad time.

I was privledged to work with Joe on the labor committee at the University of Toledo. I had I had more respect for Joe than I can tell you. He was a visonary for the labor movement. You could always trust his word and he was a true gentleman. He was respected by management like no other labor leader I know. My time with him will always be special and I will never forget him. My deepest sympathies to his families and Steve your dad was a really great person. You and I worked together at Jeep...

My sincerest condolences to the entire family. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
Joe was a good man, a great unionist, a committed community activist, a true leader, and a real voice for all. I am proud to have known him.
