He was my football coach and a mentor. A lot of the time he was the father some didn't have but needed as a role model. RIP COACH.............

What a super human being and a great coach. Enjoyed having him guide me into being the best I could be while on the track team. You will always be remembered!

Coach Tapoly was was not just my football coach,he was a man I looked up to,tough me the value of hard work and commitment. A man I put my body on the line for just to see his excitement when making a big play. He put his mark a myself and and so many others. RIP Smoken Joe and Thank You for your guidance that shaped many parts of the man I am today.

What a wonderful individual. First met Joe while covering the Rangers Relays and we stayed friends for many years. Always had a smile and good word for anyone. Prayers and thoughts to his family. RIP, Joe. You did good. Real good.

Too young to appreciate Coach when he was my coach. When you get older, you realize Coach Topoly was all about the kids and making them a better person.God Bless to Coach and his family
