Sunset and evening star,
And one clear call for me!
And may there be no moaning of the bar,

Mr. Topor,
Sir, as a fellow Marine I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served with the USMC during WW II-especially at Iwo Jima. It was the history and accomplishments made by you and your fellow Marines there that all of us Marines who followed in your footsteps have always tried to live up to. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.

Joe was our letter carrier on Highland Ave. in Malden for many years. My 5 children looked for him daily and thought that he was the best.
We all thought the world of him, he was always so kind and cheery!
We had no idea of his incredible sacrifice to our country, and our respect and admiration has grown further.God bless your family, and know that so many others will think fondly of him and keep him in our prayers.

Dear Jim, Helen & Joseph,

We are sorry for the loss of your Dad & Grandfather. I remember a father's day gathering where my dad and Joe were trading war stories...it is a priceless memory. Talk about him often and know that he is watching over you all.
