I was sad to hear of the passing of Mr Tortora. I knew him when I was a little boy and remember his kindness and generosity. I met him again later in life and his character had not changed. So Long.. Good Man

I remember Joe Tortora as a very kind and gentle man who knew how to live life to the fullest. He was a hardworking man; he loved his family and knew how to have fun. I have many wonderful memories of the times I was a guest in their home as a friend of JoAnn and Joyce. My heart goes out to all the family. It is my prayer that God will bring you comfort at this time of loss and give you strength. I know Joe will be greatly missed.

It was through Joyce, one of my dearest friends, that I had the privilege of knowing and loving the Tortora family. Joe will be greatly missed. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this time. May God uphold you with His everlasting arms.

Having known him since 1965, when I was just 14 years old, I am deeply saddened by the news of Mr. Tortora's passing away. There is comfort, however, in knowing that he is joyfully reunited in Heaven with his daughter, Jeanne, in the glorious presence of God Almighty.
