Another year has passed. Not really sure what to say anymore. I found this picture I took a few years back, I wanted to post for all to see. You're still very much missed. Gone but never forgotten.

I had the honor and privilege of serving next to Joe in North Carolina camp Geiger at the Marine school of infantry December of 99'. Joe was a Marine's Marine also one the funniest people I've ever met!I can still see him doing his infamous "chicken dance" which would have our whole platoon laughing uncontrollably! He made alot of tough cold rainy days go by easier with his great sense of humor. Also served with him in Hawaii. He was sent to golf co while I was sent to Echo. As an...

Joe, It might be 12 years tomorrow that we lost you, but no matter how many years any of us have left we will NEVER forget you. There are many memories to mention, so I added a few below. I have this same picture of you on a shelf in my man cave. It's next to my buddy 1st Lt Jimmy Gillies, USMC ( 7/27/1945 - 08/07/1970 ) He's one of the James' that Jimmy is named after - the other being my great-grandfather James O'Connell. I see this picture a few times a day since around 2007, as does...

Joe,
You were in my dream about a week ago. It was so nice seeing your face again. I missed our time together in ROTC and before I began my journey with the Marine Corps. You are missed by many.
