Great guy. Miss him.

A genuinely nice man. I always enjoyed working with him.

My condolences to Joe's family. He was a great business leader and a fine man. The Gillette Company prospered under his leadership. But more importantly, everyone loved him, employees and others alike. Joe, may the wind be always at your back. We will miss you.

My deepest sympathy on the loss of Mr. Turley. I only new him when he was Vice President of the Gillette Safety Razor Co. I work there for 31 yrs. He was a great guy. He always had a smile when he spoke to you. He will be missed. He is at peace.

A memory of Joe I'll always remember from my early days with Gillette as a National Accounts salesman. I got word that the President of the company would be working with me on my next trip to New York. I can't even describe the level of nervousness I experienced.

It turned out to be one my favorite Gillette experiences. As always, he was a true gentleman and a complete professional. By the end of the first appointment, I was completely relaxed and wound up having a very successful day....
