Not sure what to say?

Joe was a very caring and compassionate person. Shortly after moving to Spartanburg, SC I gave birth and experienced the death of my first child. Due to complications, I was unable to make arrangements or attend the burial. He and Mary Ellen supported my husband during this time and traveled with him to Monroe, NC to perform graveside services. I will always be grateful for his help and comfort during this time.

I was a member of the first church Joe Tysinger preached at, which was
Zoar United Methodist. I was a teenager in a "country church", and was so excited that Joe and Mary Ellen took on the youth ministry and began to involve us in the MYF. We are so sorry to hear of your lost. Pastor Tysinger was our pastor at one time in Eastover, SC. We loved him and his family. May God receive Pastor Joe with His wonderful and loving arms.

I didn't personally know Rev. Joe, but my parents, Edwin & Jane Tysinger loved and respected him very much. May it be of peace to his family to know that he has reached him final reward.

Having been introduced to Joe by Rev. Thomas McLean "preacher Tom" many years ago during a homecoming service at Heath Memorial UMC, I can say that Joe will be missed by those he touched both in and outside of St. John's in Fort Mill
