My sympathies to Joby's family. We were neighbors on High Street, all through school. He was always a nice person, and I know he'll be missed.

We've lost one hell of a Marine, one hell of a police officer, and one hell of a friend. Rest in peace Lieutenant. Chief Doug Waldron (RET) Stanhope Police Department.

Joby and I were police colleagues from the early 60s and went to many police training classes together.Over the years we worked many shifts together and backed each other up on many calls. It was always reassuring to see the big guy standing next to you on a call.Heaven has another Marine to watch over us.My deepest and sincerest condolences to his family.

Chief of Police Nicholas Grego Retired Stanhope PD
