My Dad was a wonderfull, caring, loving and fun man. He cherished both family and friends. He was so grateful to everyone who help shine light into his life during his final time, thanks to everyone. He was truely loved and will be dearly missed.

On behalf of the Notre Dame Class of 1965, you have our deepest sympathy. We will pray for you and for his dear cousins, our classmates Marilyn, Marsha and Mary Jo.

I went to Cathedral High School with Joe and was extremely saddened to read of his passing. While I will not be able to attend his service, I want you to know that my prayers are with you and him.

Dear Helen and family, I am so sadded by Joey's passing. Such a courageous guy who was so positive during all his treatments. I have wonderful memories of growing up and water skiing, ice skating and sledding with Joe. What a beautiful family you have and I know he will be dearly missed by everyone!! Love Marilyn Vernier Scheff
