Not sure what to say?

Mr. Viverito was a fixture in Manhasset and at track practice throughout my high school track experience. He was a really great guy! Helped a lot of us improve as runners. He and Mr. Scott were a great pair!!

While surfing on the net, I type in Joe´s name and was saddened to find out that he had passed. He and June are two of the most wonderful people who My family and I could ever hope to know in our lifetime. Josephine and I send our love and "thanks for the memories".

I met Joe while walking on "The Hill" in Port Washington. I would see him occasionally, he walking up, me walking down. Then one day we both stopped and chatted. He would work out no matter how hot it was, shirtless, sweating and with his dear wife waiting for him at the top of the hill. He was/is an inspiration to me, and I'll say a prayer for him each time I'm walking or running on the hill. Go get 'em, Joe!

My condolences to the family. I work for Manhasset schools as a groundskeeper. I worked on the fields and I saw Joe just about everyday and always had time to talk. He was such a great guy. He always asked me about JetBlue I also worked there as well now retired from there. He will be missed.

To the Viverito family,
I had just heard of the passing of the Manhasset legend Mr. V. There was no better person to run into at Manhasset Deli, or running Beacon Hill, I still head over there from Garden City to get a good workout once in a while and think about him and Don Scott. He had such a positive impact on me throughout my life with his wry smile, quick wit, but always positive message. I have had my share of pain over the past few years, and I tell my wife and kids “life is...

Worked with Joe back in the 90s and into the 2000s on a number of OTC drug and supplement projects. He was amongst the most creative, energetic and genuinely nice people I've ever encountered. A restage of the brand CALTRATE, a calcium supplement, would never have happened or been so successful without his contributions. A really great and productive guy. He will be missed. My sincerest condolences to the Viverito family. May Joe rest in peace.
