Joe Vogelsang was a very dear friend of my father's and beloved to both my father and mother. Although his was a name I remember from my childhood when he was a teenage art student of my father's, I never actually met him as a person until my mother died. I was able to see that he was a very sweet and gentle man, yet quite complex. He was very kind, loving, and giving to my dad in his last years of life, often spending large amounts of time with him when dad was in rehab in Baltimore. My...

Our condolences to joe's family

I have known Joe since I was a child. He was a very dear friend of my parents, John & Ann Riley. I always looked forward to his visits and admired his artistic talent. I have many fond memories of Joe and his family, when they were young. I will cherish those memories and miss him. He was a very kind, thoughtful and giving man. Whenever I think of him, it brings a smile to my face. My sincere condolences to his family.
