Mr. Waldon made a greeting card with a 'dopey' looking 'famous' scientist peering into a microscope...seeing a protozoan. "They were in love. etc. " My husband was at protozoologist & we was happily married for 64 years. I gave that card to him on one anniversary and he saved it 'forever' - I have it now (tho' he is gone) and still smile EVERY TIME I come across IT and I wanted to THANK Joseph FOREVER! Our friendship was just starting to become very strong when Joe found out he was moving to Texas. He has crossed my mind a number of times over the years. He had a positive energy that was contagious.I regret that we didn't stay in touch.My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.
