So sorry to hear of Joe's passing. Fondly remember him from Cumberland Valley High School as our class adviser for class of 72.

Mr. Walker was my all-time favorite teacher. He had a wicked sense of humor that even made trigonometry fun. I fondly remember how he would scroll his lecture proofs across the blackboard with his left hand while erasing previous material with his right hand as he went. He was also a mental-math master. When faced with a seemingly easy arithmetic question such as 23X18 in the pre-calculator era he would jokingly admonish flustered students by saying "what, you never learned your...

Coach Walker was a good man, helpful, willing to listen and thoughtful. Had a great life he deserved. Remember him well!!

He was a great teacher! He made math and learning fun. His splash in this world will have ripples until eternity.
