To Martha, Beth, Chris and the family and friends of Dr. Joseph B. Walsh,

I did not know Dr. Walsh personally, but based upon the content of the obituary notice, he was a man who "cast a long shadow" in his profession and beyond. From the time Joe and I became playmates on North Lake Avenue, through our days in School 18, Troop 16 (BSA), and Troy High School ('58)spanning a period of some 72 years, it was always evident that Joe would leave a huge imprint on humanity.
