Not sure what to say?

I sorry I didn't get to write this before now. I just got off the phone with a close friend in Nashville-

Clifford Curry.

For those of you who know him, you will find it easy to believe he just got back in off the road.

He didn't have access to a computer to sign in, but wanted me to convey how much he thought of Joe, et al. and send his prayers to the family and all Kappa Sigs.

We reminisced a while- he reminded me that Joe made him learn "Dream...

Dear Cathy, Tripp, Bess and CJ and family, I just wanted you to know that the brothers of Beta Chapter held a moment of silence in our chapter room for Joe this past weekend. I also passed my armband to another brother, Mike Elliott who agreed to pass it on to another someday soon. Who could forget the clap of thunder at the end of the service ? I am so glad Joe was my friend and I know we will see him again. I will miss his wit, his walk, his jump shot, his friendship. His wish was that...

Cathy and Family - Joe's presence brought joy to many people. Those of us who had the pleasure of Joe's company on a portion of our journey through life are much the better for it. I truly believe that the people we interact act with throughout life have an effect on who we become and from that standpoint, Joe will always be a part of me.

We are so sorry for your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

I was fresh out of the Navy in 1993 when I met Joe. I was having a hard time finding a job. Somehow I ended up in his office located above the eastwood store. Joe was very charismatic and seriously genuine. He offered me a position and made an everlasting impression on me. From the sound of things he really made an impact on many people's lives. God bless and comfort Joe's family.

To Joe's Family,

I am Tofey's sister and have heard so many wonderful stories about Joe. He was an inspiration to my brother and by way of my brother to me.

We should all strive for a legacy as powerful as the one Joe leaves behind.

You are in my thoughts and prayers.

To the Watson family, both personal and professional, I am so sorry for your loss. I met Joe Watson in his capacity with his company, and was amazed at the wisdom and thought he put into making decisions. He used not only good business sense, but showed personal commitment to improving the lives of people he came into contact with. I'm sure his legacy will continue, good people leave footprints in our lives and never really go away.

Joe was one of my best friends and a fraternity brother at the U of A in the 70s. I recently relocated to the South after being away for 25 years, but have told Joe Watson stories literally from coast to coast. We are having a Kappa Sig reunion in two weeks, and I'm sure Joe will be there with us in spirit. He was truly one of a kind and leaves behind a lasting legacy for which his family should be very proud.
