Mr. Wayda was just such a wonderful person. His whole family is salt of the earth type people. I am privileged to know the Wayda family for almost 20 years. They graciously let me stay at their house for a few months. I was a recent grad from U of I, and still hadn’t landed a job yet. So, I was able to stay at their house, while I got accustomed to the Big city of Chicago. During this time, I was introduced to the fine dining of Portillo’s & Connie’s Pizza.
