Not sure what to say?

Michael, I am so so very sorry for your loss. I don't know if you remember me, but I met you when y'all visited La Paloma, Uruguay, way back in April or May of 2018. We had dinner in a half empty diner on the big avenue. Only Joe would think that La Paloma was worth a visit in late fall, but in this, like in every aspect of life, he knew to make the most of everything.

What a lovely person! He made an incredible contribution to Hispanic linguistics and he helped put my country on...

Joe,

We deeply appreciate everything you did for our Chapter in South Carolina. Your passion, wisdom, and friendship have been invaluable over the years. It was a true honor having you as our President. You will be profoundly missed.

Joe was a beloved faculty member at the College of Charleston. His many years of service at an incredible impact on the lives of so many individuals, most notably for the work that was done in part of the Global Scholars Program. Joe and Dr. Rene Dentiste Mueller first started the program to promote intercultural and international experiences for students. A true friend of the Global Business Resource Center. Joe will be deeply missed.

My two best cousins ever!!!

Our Joe was so adventurous. No matter if it to another country, county, or town. They both were packed and going. The most interesting thing about him was his genuine enthusiasm to help people, animals, and family. He would share things that will grab your attention and truly make you meditate on those thoughts and moments. He truly was an artist, throwing colors on a blank canvas turning it into a true teachings. The way he expressed his interest in culture and language was incredible....
