Joseph WHEELBARGER

I never met Joseph but am the current owner of the sailboat he lived on with his wife. Upon finding his name in some documents, I decided I would try and look him up and share an update about his former vessel, which had been named for his wife. Even though he hasn´t owned it for a long time, the care he put into it still shows and I am very grateful to continue the legacy as this boat´s current steward. I remember Mr Wheelbarger fondly, as the principal at Smith School, which I attended 4th through 6th grades. He was always kind and courteous and fair, and accordingly was respected and admired. I also had the privilege of being Vickie's friend all those years ago. We lost track of each other when the family moved out of Oakwood many many years ago. My thoughts and prayers to all.
