Joseph Thomas Whipple

I met Joseph in Hawaii we were assigned to the same unit getting ready for deployment. Some of us had to do additional training at Ft. Jackson. He invited all of us to a party that his family was having. Knowing we were all thousands of miles away from family, he wanted to ensure we could be around loving people. Growing up most of my childhood was spent around joe and his father and brother, I had the great blessing to work along side him once I was old enough and had the pleasure of hearing him and his brother butt heads about who was the "tile master" a title he proudly claimed at that time, that's one of many memories I will cherish forever..that and on the weekends listening to him and his father play hotel California by the eagles on the guitars and singing their hearts out..I will never forget...
