Joseph "Joe" Whitley

Words cannot begin to express my sorrow on hearing of Joe's passing. My heart hurts. Joe, you were the best friend ever to both myself and my family. A wonderful smile and a terrific sense of humor, always ready to lend a helping hand. You brought such joy to us all. I miss you. Dad misses you, and if Mama May was still with us, she would have also. My deepest sympathies to the family on their tremendous loss.

I will always remember his smile and his wonderful personality. Loved seeing him come in.

Mr. Whitley was a joy every time I saw him. I always had a ink pen ready for him. He will be greatly missed

We will miss Joe very much. We at Spring Arbor of Rocky Mount send our condolences and prayers to his family and friends. He was such a wonderful man that was always able to put a smile on your face and a warm laugh in our hearts. We are deeply saddened and will remember him always.

Our deepest sympathies to the family of our dear Uncle Joe, who was one of a kind and a very happy go lucky kind of guy. He always had a smile on his face and always remained a "teenager" in heart and spirit. Uncle Joe, you've made it to heaven and will live forever! You will be deeply missed here on earth.
